The Waterfront Mint

The Waterfront Mint is one of only two privately owned mints in South Africa to have been authorised to mint coins under the supervision of the SA Mint. We are situated on the tip of Africa, at the V & A Waterfront, in  CapeTown.

Initially, the Waterfront Mint dealt only in coins and related products but we are now involved in the manufacture of coin-related products as well. The retail division places special emphasis on limited edition gold and silver coins, Krugerrands and gold coin jewellery. As innovators of coin jewellery, we are constantly aware of market requirements and we adapt our products accordingly.

Our sister company, Gold Reef City Mint, is situated in Gauteng. We are both approved distributors of the South African Mint and work in close association with them. We have a well-established infrastructure and a service-orientated philosophy, guaranteeing client satisfaction.
